Grampa's Weeder has been pulling out weeds and their roots for over a hundred years! This ingeniously designed weed removal tool was invented in 1913 in Seattle, Washington, and people living in the Great Northwest quickly made it the must-have weed puller for getting rid of weeds quickly and easily.

How to Use Grampa's Weeder: 1) Center the tool over the weed: Simply place the tool over the center of the invasive plant. 2) Press into the ground: Press down on the footpad straight down into the ground, then remove your foot. 3) Lean the handle: This is where the magic happens! Lean the tool towards the footpad. Do not lift the tool or twist. Only when you lean the tool will the forks pinch around the weed.

Grampa's Story: Production of the stand-up weeder stopped in 1941 so that all available metal could be put towards the war effort. Unfortunately, once the war ended, manufacturing of this wonderful weed removal tool never resumed. This all changed in 1999 when my husband Greg found my mother's strange-looking garden tool in her garage. Once he figured out what it was and how it worked, he was hooked! The next thing we knew, Grampa's Gardenware Co. was born, and we were hand-making this turn-of-the-century weed puller tool in that very same garage.
